Your child moves from one stage in life to another quicker than you would like. Milestones are important stages in your child’s life where we want to equip, love, and serve with you. Those moments are fleeting, and it is important to pause and recognize each one so you can remember what God taught you and your child during this time. We want to offer encouragement, resources, community, and celebration at these special moments in your child and family’s life.
From the very moment you know you are expecting a child, Sugar Hill Kids wants to know!
If you are expecting, adopting, have a new baby or know someone who recently delivered, please email the Sugar Hill Kids team at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would like to pray for you and offer timely encouragement to you as you begin to prepare for your child.
As believers, we must recognize that children belong first to God, and parents have the awesome responsibility of caring for His children. At Sugar Hill Church, we encourage parents to dedicate their children to God and commit to raise them in His ways.
Parent/Child Dedication is hosted twice a year, and is open to children of any age. Contact the Sugar Hill Kids team at 770.945.5092 or email@example.com to schedule your family for dedication.

It is our prayer that you as a parent would feel equipped and ready to answer questions your child may have about salvation. The Kids Ministry Team is always available to meet with you and your child, offer resources to help, and more importantly pray for you as you begin to disciple your child. Several times a year, we offer a 2-week Kids New Christians Class for children (along with a parent) who are asking questions about salvation, have recently made a decision to follow Christ, or is ready to be baptized.

Promotion Sunday is an exciting day at Sugar Hill Church, especially for our 5th Graders being promoted to Student Ministries! There are quite a few differences between Kids and Student Ministries, so if your child is about to be a rising 6th Grader, here’s what you need to know:
We encourage all our Middle Schoolers to attend the service with their families at 9am. We understand that some parents serve or attend a small group during that hour, so there are some students that sit towards the front center of the worship center during that time and there is a good amount of adult supervision in that area.
After the 9am Service, your student can go directly to the Underground for Hang Time with donuts, drinks, and plenty of games and activities.
During the summer, Students are in separate Middle School and High School Large Group programming.
Students usually dismiss at approximately 12:05pm each week. You should arrange for your student to meet you somewhere when they are finished with Large Group. At the main stairwell by where the elevator is located is a good place to meet your student. There are some couches and chairs there and it is a good place where other groups should not be distracted by Middle Schoolers hanging out. We also usually have some adult volunteers and staff people hanging out in this area.
