Kids Ministry (Birth - 5th Grade) of Sugar Hill Church
Our world has changed a lot over the past many months, and as we begin to come back together in person, we want to do everything we can to make sure our kids and families feel safe. Check out the video and read below for ALL the logistical details of how things will look different for our Re|Gather.
Most importantly, to help us with preparing our space each week, please use the buttons below to RSVP for the exact number of folks you’ll be attending one of our gatherings with!
Doors will open 15 minutes before each service time (8:45 and 10:45am). When you arrive on campus, you can enter the Kids area through either the Back Parking Lot & Entrance (Preschool and First Time Guests) or the Side Parking Lot & Entrance (Elementary).
If it’s your child’s first time with us, we have our First Time Guest area ready to go just for you in the Back Entrance Lobby. Our team will be happy to help your child get checked-in and show you around our area.
If you are a returning family, you will see our team in place to help you with contactless check-in. We ask that only one family member check-in and pick-up to limit the number of people in the kiosk area.
After check-in, find your child’s classroom location on their name tag and look for signage that will help lead you in the right direction.
When dropping off your preschool age child, you will see hooks in our hallways. We ask that you please drop all diaper bags, book bags, coats, etc. on the hooks outside your child’s classroom. Your child’s leader will meet you at the door with a smile (under their mask) and hand sanitizer.
All elementary aged kids (Kindergarten-5th grade) are required to wear a mask and will meet in a socially distanced large group in the Theater. To locate the Theater, just follow the "Elementary" arrows on the directional signs. A Kids Min leader will meet you at the door with a smile (under their mask) and hand sanitizer.
Please send only one family member to pick up your kids, to reduce the number of people in the hallways and help the process run more smoothly!
Because the safety of all families is our top priority, SHC has instituted COVID-19 related safety practices that are based on CDC guidelines and policies implemented in local schools. If you would like to read our full COVID Policy, please email us at kids@sugarhillchurch.com.
Before Arriving to Programming
Please review the COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire. If your answer is YES to any of these questions OR if you are sick in any way, PLEASE stay home and join us via digital programming.
What if someone tests positive for COVID-19?
Out of respect for all families, we ask that SHC staff is notified of all positive COVID-19 tests (anonymity will be respected beyond the necessary leadership) and that individuals testing positive observe CDC recommended quarantine.
